What do you think? Think hard now about history and who was the biggest underdog in these 3 games.

Nobody in Cleveland thought we could do it, and probably nowhere else for that matter, but our kids played their hearts out and came out on top...so they get my vote...but I proud for all the schools..huge wins for all 3 programs.

I can't believe Kirbyville beat Jasper! This really could shake things up in the district with Silsbee playing well

There was a funky smoke over the stadium at Newton last night. Turned out to be Jasper grilling crow on a west wind.

The Newton fans cheered louder for the Kirbyville-Jasper updates over the p.a. than they did for their own team. Of course there wasn't much to cheer about when you are playing Kountze.

Well, just wanted to give you a chance to have me eat a lot of CROW. Lord knows I deserve it. I wished I could have seen that Jasper game, but I was too busy watching BH turn the ball over so many times I lost count. There was a very bad call that cost us a touchdown, but we did not deserve to win that game. We were outplayed and our offesive coach had his same old day-in and day-out offense that everyone has seen over and over and over.........

I am just hoping this loss was a wake-up call for BH, as we have got to get more than 4 plays in the play book.

Congrats to Kirbyville and Huffman......two quality wins.
