Gatesville and Groesbeck both scored with their first team offenses, then the Hornets scored with their second team.

The two teams then ran an overtime period and both squads scored.

Gatesville looked good, despite not letting LaShon Thayer carry the ball very much. I guess they don't want him hurt before the season.
The Hornets lost a lineman in the game, causing the scrimmage to end early. He dislocated his knee and will be out for the season.
