There hasn't been any. Like I said, my source isn't that great, and they post updates on their site whenever they get them.

Progreso/Lyford hasn't been updated since halftime. The RH/LF score now says it's at half instead of 3rd quarter.

I promise i'll post 'em as soon as they're put up.

Just got off the phone with my cuz he says the game is alot closer than it really should be... Says the refs are doing a horrible job and keeping Raymondville close because of thier bad calls.....It never suprises me about the refs they are always like that towards PI.


Apparently the "Curse of the Zebra" is biting PI in the butt tonight. Grr, I hate that. :mad:

Ok, I need to post a correction on here, I apologize to the people reading the scores.

Port Isabel - 30
Raymondville - 7 FINAL

I verified the score with the people at the Brownsville Herald. I thought I had heard 35-7 over the phone, but it WAS loud. And honestly, since it was 21-7 at one point, 35-7 final sounded right.....so how did PI score 9 points after it was 21-7? Three FGs? A TD and a safety? Please explain Tarpon faithful :confused:

Ahhh, ok. Thanks for the clarification Ray. What was your take on the game? I have no idea since i'm in Dallas and can't drive 10 hours every Friday to see the Tarpons play. I was hearing that the game should not have been as close as it was in the first half. Shed some light will ya?

I got there late in the first, so I just got to see PI score right away...there were a lot of penalties that first half...I mean a lot against PI, there was one drive that took yall almost all the way back to your own endzone. It was crazy, Raymondville managed a score and that was it...it was pretty much contain PI as much as you can for the rest of the game. I was impressed with the Raymondville D they managed to stop a few of PI's drives with 15 players out and Wolfe nursing an ingury...Congrats on the win.

I hate to complain about the refs and you have never heard me either. It's like that all the time, year and year out. In the first half especially, it was really was unbelievable. Fans were booing, it was just sheer frustration and I for one was just sick of it, I know for sure now that the Tarpons do have a bad rap with the refs. Even the Bearkats will /have attested to it. And it's not that we want to win by more, because the Bearkats played a good game, we just want fair calls. Fair, that's all we ask for, nothing more and nothing less. Point is, imagine if it was a close game and it would come down to calls like that?? Ok I am done; you won't hear me complain about the refs anymore, I figure what's the point, right?

Oh yeah and Congratulations Tarpons way to go!

And to Raymonville good game, and a very valient effort.
