Sinton held on D and Collins had a great catch for a long gain. Looks like Sinton might be putting in some subs with :40 left in the 3rd. Oops, Franco just had another run down to around AP 20...

Sinton scored again but am not sure of the score. I was talking to my brother when it happened. AP has the ball outside their own 20...

Sinton subs QB and first play AP picks up a fumble on their own 15 and runs it back for a TD.

Watched the game and the score should have been 70+. Many over thrown balls on lang passes. If those WR would run they might catch that ball on a long pass. That QB has an arm on him.

I always think they try too many trick plays. Just run what gets you there. If you can get 7 or 8 yards a run play why try the reverse pitch back for an 8 yard loss????????

AP made some good hits and those kids never gave up!

Sinton should have scored ALOT more than the score said. The 2 came from a bad extra point and Georgie Alvarado (The AP Team) came up with it and ran it back for about 97-99 yards... Sinton should have cought about 3-5 more passes, all of which could have become touchdown. im still big on Stephen Burk, Mr Lightning on Feet. The kid is rediculously fast. Got a pitch and beat almost everyone to the sideline and if he had started from the far hash, would have gone the distance. Good win for the Pirates.

Yeah, I agree. If the receivers would have kept running, Ramirez would have prolly at least 3 more completions for td's. One, he got a bad snap, had to pick up the ball and scramble backward. The receiver slowed, Ramirez launched a cannon shot and the receiver then tried to catch up to it, but went past him a couple of yards. Ball probably went 50 yds in the air. If he hadn't slowed it would have scored.

very true, like i told ya at the game, ill tell everyone here... Burk is the real deal. 3 steps, and GONE... no lie.... i have yet to see him get caught when he is full speed in the open field. Good thing he is a state caliber reciever.

District303a, I hear you. Burk is the man. Give him the extra step and you can run along to see him do his thing, cause you ain't catchin' him. With his speed and all the good stuff coming out of the backfield, well, it's just plain torture to have to wait a whole week just to see some more excitment. Travis, Josh, Zach, Amdon, Daniel, Daniel(QB), and Isaac coming out of the backfield. Well, you just never know where it's coming from. Way to go Pirates. Way to go OFFENSIVE line and Defense. All these guys put on a great performance. By the way, is Phil C back. It surely is quiet on here.

i saw him as he was leaving, he looked a lil under the weather, said he would make his truimphant return tonight.

BTW, Arredondo is one HELL OF A BACK. THe kid does it all. OLB on D, and RB On Offense, expect great things from him, Ring, Castillo, Franco and Burk in the next few weeks. I would venture to say that Franco broke 1050 tonight, he entered the game with 900 even i believe. . .

Way go go Pirates! A great win tonight for Sinton against a talented Aransas Pass team! A few plays went the Pirate's way and we were able to win a very close game by an unexpected large margin. Whew! It was rough and much closer than the score indicates.

Hey wild Phil. Did you miss the game I went to. When your offense doesn't score, you didn't play a close game. Were you really at this game, or did you stay home and make up something? By the way, I've heard that some of the band members are wondering why you never wait to greet them when they get home from the game.

Hey sinfan tell the band members I had a sign for them and the cheerleaders too. I know the band works hard and makes sacrifices. If they had looked over at my truck tonight they would have seen that I waved at them. Plus if they drive through the parking lot and back to the street to the bandhall I will great them. Oh and sinfan I can't make the booster club meeting Monday because I am taking my son to the junior high volleyball game so please extend my apologies. Of course you have the advantage of knowing who I am but I don't know who you are. Or do I? ::D

PS I was at the game tonight plus I was at the girls' volleyball game but I don't remember seeing you there. :)

Hey sinfan don't worry about it because I know some of the band members personally and I am sure that if they were wondering that some of them would have told me directly and not relied on heresay. :)

Cool Phil, I'm glad you got to see the girls. They are really playing well. I see they won 3-0. Sorry I'm not able to make their out of town games, but I have some other responsibilities that keep me away. By the way Channel 10 has 1st and 10 right NOW.

I think the Pirates came into this game needing to prove something to themselves. I'll say this, I think they succeeded. Last night they again looked as though they're on a mission. Way to go Pirates! Also, after thinking about it overnight, we scored on the posessions where the passes didn't work anyway, just ended up doing it on the ground. Don't remember too many Sinton punts.

SintonFan_inAustin
10-16-2004, 09:11 AM
not sure but think only punted once, with about a min to the half and the punt was down around 2 yard line.
