Well, Germans have Oktoberfest and drink their beer and are merry...

Well, you've heard of Shiner-Bock, right?

They have Bocktoberfest in Shiner... and drink their beer and are merry...

Last year the headliners were Nickelback, Trapt and Three Days Grace...

No Germanfest (http://www.nortexinfo.net/gfest/) is for that reason.. Bocktoberfest is for wanna be germans

I've actually heard good things about the festival in Muenster, though, gunna have to go some day...

My father is 100% German... so I guess I inherited the beer-bone from him...

Gobbla....I went 4 years ago and geez louise..... Stuck my head out the the motor home the next day and it loked like it snowed on the Shiner property. There were white plastic cups everywhere. I have to say, that Shiner beer is a little hard to get used too. Guess I should stick to my "watered down" Bud Light.

A load of fun if you have never been! Looks like it will be a little cooler than it was 4 years ago.

IHS - I'll send you a postcard :D man...i did turkeyfest a couple of years ago...it was friday and bocktoberfest was sat. talk about a wild weekend!! i still have a wooden nickel from turkeyfest!
