Homer Bailey was great - happy for him & rooting for him. He played summer ball here in Houston for the Houston Heat (Phil Cross). Next big thing to watch out for is junior Blake Williams of Sweeny High School. He also plays for the Heat as I watched them this summer. That kid is filthy, 16 years old throwing 91 mph with good breaking stuff. Only going to get better with maturity. RHP 6'3" 175 lbs. with a loose arm & movement, swings a good stick too as a 3B. I am a scout & believe me this kid is special. Could be mid 90s guy by graduation. If Sweeny puts anything around him, look out. I hear he got hurt in the 1st game as their qb (left collarbone). Kyle Drabek, Aaron Miller, & Diego Seastrunk are others rising quickly in this area. If you can recruit this area, you can win.
