The only Vernon player to make the 1st team list (Josh Gillis) made offensive line and he doesn't even play offense. He is a defensive tackle. Never played a down on offense all year. Go figure.

Dane throws for 3100 yds and Christian catches 86 passes and 1440 yds....and they dont make it! this site must be from down south.

Plus there are so many deserving kids in Texas that it is hard or at least objectionable when a list does come out.

congratulations to all the players whom made the 3a and all classification teams, but especially to Port Isabel's Misael "Missile" Iracheta and Orlando "Lando" Ochoa!

I have to defend the choices made on the THSF site. This guy has basically dedicated his heart and soul to that site and runs it single-handedly.

Just the amount of stats he had to go through to make his choices is mind boggling. I'm sure there are many deserving kids who didn't make "his" list, but that in no way takes away from their accomplishments.

If you happen to read this Chris...keep up the good work!

That would be a hell of an offensive line.

If you happen to read this Chris...keep up the good work!He listed a Vernon player for 1st team Offensive Line that didn't play offense all year? What is he looking at? Josh Gillis was a great player for Vernon but on defense. I'm sure all these players are great, but dang if your going to make a team at least get the posistions correct. Maybe it was that it was some sort of mistake and he should have been on defensive line.

He must have made a mistake, plain and simple!
