the astros have as good a chance at winning this game as the cowboys do going to the playoffs this year... its not gonna happen... phil missed his chance yesterday... so what if clemens was supposedly running on empty? he was doing better than the bullpen that gave up 4 runs when they were 100%.... if u gotta put lidge in for 2 innings to win the series then do it... whats the use of resting a pitcher for future games if ur not gonna have any?

I'm pulling for the Astros all the way. Why don't they have just as good a chance as Atlanta? I would've liked to have seen them win this at home, but tonight is the night! I don't understand the logic of taking Biggio out of the game either, neither did the sportscasters covering the game. The bullpen did stink yesterday giving up four runs. I stepped away from the t.v. with a 5-2 lead and came back and it was tied. I just couldn't believe it.

The Astros are definately the better team. When they win, they do it by larger margins than the Braves do. WHen Atlanta has won, they did it by one run each time. I think the Stros are choke artists. I hope they don't choke tonight, but who knows. History could repeat itself. But anyways, Go STROS!

Don't know if I can watch the game or not, because I've had the Astros let me down so many times. 1980 - Joe Niekro vs. Phillies, 1986 - Mike Scott vs. the Mets, 1997 vs. Braves, afterward Dierker retires, 1998, we get Randy Johnson and Kevin Brown and the Dodgers beat us, 1999, the last year in the Dome and we get beat by the Braves, and 2001 and another whoopin' by the Braves. Maybe I'll miss the game and hope for a different result.........no, that won't happen. I'll be watching and rooting for the Stros. Good luck Houston!

i'm tired of hearing announcers criticize players for sliding head first into first base... their reason: olympic sprinters dont dive across the finish line...omg... only an idiot would dive on a track running full speed... all u would do is maybe win the race and tear urself up really bad in the process... so i guess if diving is slower than running then why do football players dive to make a tackle when they're running behind a player instead of just running until they catch him?
