Friday Night Lights was an awesome movie....I think before it leaves theaters, I will have seen it 10 times. They should put it at the very top of all time high school sports movies.

If you're gonna list "Bring it On" and "Karate Kid" why not include "Lucas," "Porky's" or "Teen Wolf?"

There's a pretty good indie film about six-man football called "Slaughter Rule." My top 10:

1. Hoosier's
2. Hoop Dreams
3. He Got Game
4. Above the Rim
5. Go Tigers!
6. Remember the Titans
7. VisionQuest
8. All the Right Moves
9. Wildcats
10. Breaking Away

I would include Dazed & Confused in this list. I know, they never filmed a high school sports scene, but it did have a little league scene and the whole day the coaches & teammates of Randle "Pink" Floyd kept trying to get him to sign the NO DRUGS oath. And they did have that last scene on the 50 yard line.

You gotta add Rudy or even Miracle on Ice to this list.

Friday Night Lights was great. Might be the best sports movie I've seen.
