I think it's just great the national exposure that Texas HS Football will be getting over the few weeks from the release of the movie "Friday Night Lights", which is getting a lot of good reviews, and the telecast of the Southlake-Carroll-Denton Ryan game on ESPN. These events will give the rest of the U.S. a sample of what they have always heard, and all of us know---the best High School football and players are in Texas.

That may not be good because now more colleges besides OK and ARK will be recruiting in Texas.

Oh I dunno Phil C.---I kinda think these guys have got this recruiting thing down to such a science that they would know about a kid who played for Pluto.

You are right Bull! Recruiters know about everyone from California to New York and Alaska to Key West, Florida. Not just in football but all sports nowadays. An example was Texas getting Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams from California.

I guarantee you that Gobbla2001 will make out-of-state recruiters take Texas prospects "from his cold dead hands" from reading his comments on this subject. Let's hope they don't get too many more.
