Chris Brown threw four touchdown passes and ran for another as the Gainesville Leopards easily defeated the Pilot Point Bearcats 42-0 Friday at Massey Stadium.
Gainesville (6-0 overall, 1-0 district) scored 21 points in the second quarter and 14 more in the third. They had nearly 450 yards of total offense. Terrius Purvey rushed for 101 yards. Brown passed for 169. Luke Smallwood also threw a touchdown pass to Greg Mack in the fourth quarter.
The Leopard defense held Pilot Point to 181 yards and no points. It was the fourth shutout in six games for the GHS defense.
