Maybe not that much, but Cuero will win. I thought we would blow out Hallettsville, but that didn't happen.
As long as we win , don't care what score is. Maybe 28-14.

the cuero game was one early fumble and a bad special teams play away from being a blowout

i saw that Lulling beat Gonzales....but i didnt think Gonzales was supposed to be that great this year.....i think Cuero beats Luling like a red-headed step child.

Gonzales will be alright. They have a good coaching staff.

I take Cuero in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters. Luling, as every team, will put up a fight in the 1st quarter. I take Cuero by 30, Gonzales over Yoakum by 20 and Hallettsville by 30 over Edna.

/under desk waiting for the Shiat to hit.

average score at home is...
Cuero 40
Opponent 24

road games...
Cuero 38
Opponent 0

the zero probably comes from only playing 2 roads games but cuero's defense is still pretty good

Cuero needs a loss to wake them up...every week they play a little worse. The holes for the backs are getting smaller, the tackling keeps getting sloppier and the secondary....they can drop 15 players and still get thrown on...maybe they should just blitz the house, anything to stop the pass. Personally I'd like to see those safeties get in the WR face and jam em like toast...Yoakum will eat up that secondary, Yoakum under Crowe, always puts up a fight no matter what kind of talent they have, they're pretty scrappy. Cuero is one of those teams who won't lose to another team, but will beat themselves, and it's coming. A loss wakes them up and makes them realize they're not invincible...just hope it doesn't happen in the playoffs.

How come Cuero has allowed so many points against? Is the defense not as good as I thought, or have their oponents been that good on offense? I used to live in Vctoria and I know that some of those darn small towns scattered about seem to put out some really good teams....

3 shutout's
wharton put up 55 final C56-W55
Sinton put up 28 final C35-S28
Halletsville put up 14 final C35-H14

The Wharton game really messes up the final points against total other than that the D is really quick still a bit young , 6 soph's getting considerable playing time on D and O but will mature fast in a tough distric .

Yep....I'm afraid so Gobbla. Yoakum has got to the luckiest team so far with their wins. I still say Gonzo over Yoakum by 20. With their loss last week at home, Gonzo will be ready this week. And just think Gobbla, I'm a Bulldog fan. Oh, well?
