With Gonzalez losing its district opener to Luling 34-22, its looking like they might not be a playoff contender this season. It will probly be Cuero, and then Yoakum, Halletville, and Luling will battle for the final two spots. Way to go Luling Eagles, not a bad win at all for your 26-3A opener. Yoakum dismantled Edna last night and Cuero held on against a respectful Halletville team that came to play @ Gobbler Stadium last night. Go Cuero, 6-0!

That is very true. I can't think of more than............30 Bulldogs in 3A. I mean, that's not even half of the teams, right?

After watching last nights game, I don't think Yoakum has a chance against Hallettsville. The brahmas are a very good team and very quick to the ball. Their defense really impressed a lot of people. Even though # 2 never broke any long runs, don't give him an open field. You will never catch him. Coach Taylor has done a great job with them and we(Cuero) expects them to do well in district. I'm not sure where Yoakum & Hallettsville play, but it will be a good game.

Several dragons, loads of eagles, owls, and falcons. All kinds of wildcats, bearkats, bobcats, a few blackcats, jaguars, cougars, lions, lynx, panthers, tigers, one Whompus Kat.
Spartans, Trojans, Warriors.
Rangers, cowboys, mustangs, broncos, zebras, and numerous Indians, Apaches, Kiowas, Comanches, & several Buffaloes, shorthorns, brahmas, & Longhorns still survive.
Venomous vipers & rattlers, hornets, yellowjackets abound.
Pirates, rebels, raiders.
Coyotes, greyhounds, foxes, loboes, and about 500 BULLDOGS.

Oh yeah, Muleshoe and San Antonio Heights -- only Mules in Texas.
