[Da Mules]

da Mules were plenty PO'd about their lousey play against Amarillo River Road last week, and took it out on a hapless Lobo squad. Muleshoe held them to 74 yards rushing & 32 passing for a total of 106 yards. Muleshoe had approx 337 yards rushing and about 130 passing. da Mules also apparently learned a lesson from playing on River Road "Prairie Patch" last week, as they now have shoes with interchangeable cleats, and also remembered how to throw the football. Way to bounce back, Mules!

In 2-3A, Lubbock Cooper whipped Littlefield 34-0. Brownfield had a bye.
da Mules will be off next week, then Friday Oct 22 host Lubbock Cooper for the Rilly Big Shew, as the winner of that game will most likely have a lock on district 2-3a.

Borger 20, river road 0. da mules put it to those lobos, good grief. a game like that can do that for ya though. that cooper/mules game is lookin better and better.

Well that Borger score disappoints me, because in my opinion the winner of that game will be the 3rd place finisher in 1-3a, second seed in DII. We REALLY wanted River Road to win so we could possibly line up a playoff game against them for summa dat Revenge. But anything can happen on Friday night... Dalhart might possibly could foul things up there in the Panhandle (when heque freezes over) :D
