It means read only member... which means you are a member who can only read, or read only as a member...

just members who are only allowed to read things, like, hey, you can read only as a member...

OMG that is horrible. I think i have been ROM before lol, but i thought the websight was just messed up. But i created a new name and im still alive today hehe.
