Adobe Photoshop (not football related but need help from computer nerds)

hey i was wanting to download the newest adobe photoshop off limewire illegally, but i didnt know what the newest one was.. does anybody know?? i'm downloading Photoshop 8.0.1 right now.. is that it? or is that just a nasty virus?

well do you guys work for the FBI?

i plan on sending adobe the money for it, just after i graduate and afford it.. I look at it as sort of a student loan

Adobe Photoshop 7 and Adobe ImageReady 7 is the one I use. There is also Adobe PS CS which is 8 but its the same thing........there are also updates and various other stuff that there might be to download. The actual download of the program should take over an hour even with cable/dsl

Jumping in on my husbands screen name to give my 2 cents. (peeking over his shoulder and thought i would jump in here)
I'm a graphic designer, I run 7. If there is a new version, I have not heard about it. Sometimes adobe will confuse you with "indesign" or a "cr" version.
Also, the new versions tend to have a few bugs. I would recommend adobe photo shop 7. I won't recommend stealing it;) .... I have a poor college student also! Kazza has filled his computer with viruses. I have to go rescue him every once in a while! you do what you gotta do............ it's the consequenses that stink!

You can download the lastest version 9.0 You can use it for only 30 days. Its a major download. I have it but if you have not used this before try for a 7.0 something like that. What do you plan to use it for if you dont mind me asking? There is plenty of people that would be happy to do something for you...... Good Luck with it.............. Its just a popular program and thought it may come in handy to know how to use someday, you can ask the people that have been here awhile and they will tell you how i like to alter photos when i'm bored and now they will be even better once i figure everything out.. after I think i have a good grip on using it I will try my hand at Microsoft Frontpage..

I just looked on download.com keith and all the 8.0.1 and 6.0.2 and things like that were just updates and bug fixes

Raise the opacity on the leapord....do it in photoshop not imageready or it will just do it for slide. And just a little tip, when you watch it in image ready it goes faster then what it will on the internet.
