i'm thinkin' about going friday - depends on the weather

I quit going to the State Fair when I started needing an AR-15 just to get from the parking lot to the gate.

Did you know on Saturdays while the Texas vs OK football game there are a lot of people at the fair who don't even care about the game. :eek:

shocking as it is to us football nerds - most of the population dont give a rats arse about football !!!!!!!!! even in Burnet, or Sinton, or Forney, or Liberty Hill, or Caldwell, or Pilot Poitn, or name-any-other-town !!!!!!!

Way back in the day when I was in school...we used to go to the State Fair every year. (FFA and FHA)

Those long bus rides from Big Spring to Dallas were a BLAST until they quit letting us sit with our boyfriends/girlfriends.

I never went to another one after that!:p

OK, bring it on - I'm ready :evillaugh That may be true about those towns, because they are all golf towns. But, if you visit Marble Falls, Smithville or Fort Worth Poly, you'll find every soul in town in the stands.:D
