well lets get some predictions on this weeks games and then any comments
Silsbee(4-0) vs. Shepherd(5-0)
Jasper(4-1) vs. Buna(3-2)
Kirbyville(4-1) vs. Coldspring-Oakhurst(1-4)

i dont have a clue as to who will win the silsbee shpeherd game but i am rooting for the pirates. both teams are very talented. as for the other two i do not think there will be much of a contest between jasper and buna. I think that kirbyville migh receive a little scare from coldspring but that is it. GO PIRATES GO!

I don't much like to predict these things, I usually get it all wrong. But it IS the first district games. This is a blending of different districts. Jasper and Kirbyville came from old Dist 20, Buna from the GT district, Shepherd and Coldspring from another, and Silsbee dropped from 4a district 20. So it is going to be interesting to see how competitive each area is. Friday night we should get a good read on how they all stack up. My preliminary gut feeling is:

Silsbee(4-0) over Shepherd(5-0)
Jasper(4-1) over Buna(3-2)
Kirbyville(4-1) over Coldspring-Oakhurst(1-4)
