On the grill with lots of hot sauce, but I am not worried. UT may beat them by more than 7. This one might get ugly.

We've already played our tough game--at Arkie. (Man, was that a tough atmosphere)

Who has OU played? The mediocre teams they have played and were supposed to blow out, they all stayed in the game.

I'm not saying we win, but I'm not saying we lose either. Actually, I have no idea what I'm saying. :D

But this game will be interesting. I think we surprise a lot of folks...

And no, it won't be another blowout by OU.

"Anybody got the time?"

"Yah, it's 8:23 and OU still sux"

OU actually had one of it's hardest non-conference schedules in a while because they thought the schedule rank would count...but they changed it. Bowling Green and Oregon are both tough teams...On the other hand, Arkansas was a tough one for UT, but it shouldn't have been, and they were 6 yards from losing, but besides Arkansas, who has UT played?? Baylor, North Texas(who I thought would be really good this year...boy was I wrong) and I think they played another sorry team. UT isn't as good as they were last year and OU is better. Peterson and Benson will combine for over 300 on the ground, but the OU o-line won't let UT's pass rush even see White, he'll torch them. I'm an aggie fan, and I root against OU every chance I get, but I just don't see UT pulling this one out, OU-52 UT-38....o yea, and I never highlights or stats of the OU-TT game, but how did Tech's defense hold OU to only 28:eek: ???...maybe UT has a chance after all:thinking:

THIS TEXAS TEAM IS JUST THAT A TEAM ALL YOU HEAR AROUND AUSTIN IS THEIR ARE NO BIG NAMES NO ONE STANDS OUT
LIKE THE WILLIAMS VASHERS
BENSON IS A VERY HUMBLE BACK REMINDERS OF PRIEST
YOUNG IS PLAYING WELL AND WITH BRAINS GOOD LUCK TO TEXAS
SOONERS ARE TOUGH BUT THE HORNS AINT HEARD NO BELL

Bowling Green is 2-2 (1-0)
Those wins came against Southeast Missouri State and Temple

Oregon is 1-3 (0-1)
That win came against Idaho.

Now I'm not saying our OOC schedule is all that tough, but you have to admit...neither was OU's.

Also--Arkansas is 3-2 (1-1)
They played Florida tough and that was in Gainesville. And UF is almost in the Top 10. So to say we should have blown them out is ridiculous. Playing Arkie, in Arkie, is tougher than most people realize. Not to mention, they have a stout team. I still stand by my record saying that both Tech and A&M would definitely lose to Arkie if they had to play at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville.

KTJ, I hated playing the Razorbacks in Lubbock. I think the last game I went to the score was something like 56-6. Never wanted to punish myself enough to make the trip to Fayetteville.

I'm not a big UT fan, but I will always root for ya'll against OU or any of the North teams. Besides, the Bevos live here and my oldest is a student. GO HORNS! (Man, I never thought I'd say that. ;) )

UT has to good of a running game and there defense is ankored by sr. lineback derrick johnson and they are to much for OU this year UT by 10

Part of this game to me is the rivalry between Texas and Oklahoma, the states, not the schools. It almost takes on the mystique of the superbowl. Maybe not quite the superbowl, but I think you know what I mean. This is like the Jasper/Newton game. Who cares what records are, or who we have played up to this point? We are Texas, and we are ready to kick some Sooner butt!!! Now, I am normally an A&M fan, but we are talking state pride here.....so....:( GO HORNS!!!!!

Ranger05

honestly i think OU is not a # 2 no offense and there defense isnt as good and last year they lost all there games last year to teams with top rushing attacks and that was when they were suppose to have a so called "good defense" and right now UT has the best rushing attack in the nation

No, I wish I would have stepped outside my comfort zone...I came from a small high school...and the thought of a BIG university like that scared me at the time...and I wanted to be closer to my BF (now my hubby) at that time. I went to ECU in Ada and later to SOSU in Durant (where I graduated)....our families have been OU fans from the beginning...my nephew is going there now:)
