Liberty starts off district with a win, their first win. Tarkington has played a weak schedule thus far and althogh Liberty hasen't won one yet allof their games were close. Liberty by 14

Liberty will win this one.....we are talking about the same tarkington that hasn't been to the playoffs since 1954...god bless them

I am rooting for Tarkington! It's about time for them to have a winning season and Liberty is really getting a bad start.

oh gosh if it had been anyone other than Jody rooting for us I woulda been excited...

but Jody doesn't like my Jasper Bulldogs so....:p

Wouldn't that be something if Tarkington could get it together and win a playoff spot. We have a pretty weak district this year with Liberty, Splendora and Cleveland having 1 win between them. If Tarkington could get that third spot it wouls help their confidence greatly. I think we (BH) take it for granted every year that we are in the playoffs, for a team like Tarkington it would be the best thing in the world. If they can beat Liberty they have a great chance to go.

we should be able to compete with most of the teams in the district. obviously BH and Huffman are going to be tough games for us. You know we weren't suppose to beat Splendora when they were 9-0 a few years back or Coldsprings 2 years ago when they were going into the playoffs. So you never know on any given friday what might happen...

I'm going to go with Tarkington by 7, just cause most everyone else expects Liberty to win.

Except Jody!!

I do not think it will be a blow out either way though.

Liberty should not take anything for granted this year. Everyone is kicking their butt! It would just make my day for Tarkington to beat the crap out of them, since we (BH) coughed one up to Liberty last year.

Oh yeah, it would also make my day to see Tarkington beat the **** out of Jasper and WOS.....:D

Hupernikomen: What's the deal with Bridge City and Silsbee? That was an awful game.....both teams were just plain bad.
