District 30-3A and the playoff picture...

Okay...you have Sinton, Ingleside, Aransas Pass, Goliad & Mathis. Sinton is the favored team in the district w/ Aransas Pass & Ingleside most likely duking it out for the second spot. The interesting spin here is, that for the first time in several years....there is a chance that Aransas Pass and/or Ingleside could really give Sinton a run for their money and possibly even beat them...but thats a big IF. Sinton is the favored team for good reason. Goliad & Mathis could sneak in there and spoil it for Aransas Pass or Ingleside as well.....this is a tight, tough district, and its just too hard to call this early...but i'd like to hear some input! thanks guys!! good luck to yall!

Tell me about CC West Oso. They were good last season, can they be good again? Who is their coach, how long has he been there, and do they have or ever had any type of winning tradition?

West Oso just recently changed districts.....i think maybe once they start district play..they will be alright....until they run up against Zapata. theyve had their good years and their bad years.....their problem is enrollment as far as i can tell, not a real big school. they do have some great atheletes though. i'm not sure who their coach is.

AP is a little better and Ingleside is a lot better. They both have good records but against mediocre teams. The real game will be this week against AP and Ingleside. I predict AP will beat Ingleside and be 7-0 when they play Sinton. AP will be very pumped up for the Sinton game as they always are, but will fall short in the end! Both teams have given up quite a few points and Sinton's defense is very good and getting better. The nasty slot will not work against this defense!

West Oso always has athletes. They've never been in short supply over there. They go to Regionals just about every year in hoops.
Their biggest problems are lack of discipline and lack of on-field leadership. And, like StangFan brought up, their enrollment is pretty low.

Believe it or not the taped glasses get much more of a response from the ladies. The pocket protector serves as more of a secondary conversation piece.
