The braves have too much playoff experience

is it really about how much playoff experience a team has or maybe just how hot they are at the time??? ie. 2003 marlins... im sure there were others but it seems conine was the only one with playoff experience... they just had a lot leadership... the astros do too--clemens, bagwell, biggio, kent... and they almost never lose... they're finally playing like the team they were supposed to be all season

and just to add to that if it was based on playoff experience the yankees would win the world series every year.... i know it does play a factor but i think its mainly based on how good the team is playing... the astros could just fall apart and start to suck wednesday... hopefully they wont

Playoff experience can come into play... I'll give you that one...

This series will be won on the last game I have a feeling (last scheduled game, you get my point)...

The stros have the rocket taking off first and then comes my boy Roy Oswalt and maybe today's winner MR.BACKE. They have going on right now but the bats have to be hot. The killer bees need to be swarming around the bases and shutting the braves down.

i'm riding my team all the way on this one. . after what we've been through this year watch out. i know when many people think of astros they think of. . maybe they will make the playoffs and then lose to the braves. But once they beat the braves, will everyone then have faith? I'll be at the game saturday. Bought my tickets today.

Being raised in Texas, and pretty close to Houston, i watched Astros games all my life, same way with the Cowboys (different sport, who cares) But, i developed my own fav. teams, which would be the Braves, and in the case of the NFL, the Eagles. And i feel that this is Atlanta's year. They took revenge and knocked the Cubs out of the playoff race even though they lost tonight. But, i believe that the astros will fall this year. Most people thought that the Braves would be lucky to win more games then they lost this year. And getting past the first round of the playoffs (which they havent done in 4 years i think) will give them enough of a morale boost to carrry them to the championship and win it. Thats my two cents.

i know atlanta has the experience but houston has a lot of momentum and this is an entirely different team than the earlier post season teams in houston, pitching is even better, bats are alive, and the truth is there just rollin, so im saying houston in 4

Everything seems to be falling into place for the Astros. Maybe this is the year they can finally get by the Braves. Their bats are hot, the pitching rotation has fallen into place with Clemens and Oswalt, and they seem to be doing everything that needs to be done to win the game. Lets just hope the curse of winning against the Braves in the 1st round can be put to rest this year. Everyone had written the Astros off for dead a couple of months ago, so maybe this is the YEAR!!!!

The Astros have the top two candidates for the Cy Young, the best closer in the game, and an offense that is on fire. That should spell NL Pennant. The Braves have had some pitchers step up, but mainly rely on a high powered offense. I'm a firm believer that good pitching beats good hitting in the playoffs.

The Braves have the advantage in defense, but the offenses and bullpens balance out. I think the Stro's pitching will do the job in a short series.

Bye-bye monkey on thier backs, Astros take this one in 4.

The rocket doesn't have his best stuff today. He's barely getting by. Atlanta has strandedabout 8 runners through 3 innings. Thank goodness for the homeruns by Ausmas & Berkman.
