What are some predictions on this big rivalry in 24-3A this week?

BC by 7 in a nailbiter

I havn't seen Orangfield play, but last weeks score against GP was impressive. I did go to the Bridge City game last week and they have a lot of starters out which looks to be hurting this team a bunch. I'll have to go with Orangefield by 10.

I caught the LCM game with Orangefield and also with BC. I have to say OF played less than perfect football in the times I have seen them this year. Also BC is going on revenge from last years heartbreaking loss. I take BC by 14.

I am going with RBARKER but only by at the most 3. Extremely good and close game but I am going with OF.

But what are you basing your conclusion on?

I know at least 2 starters should be ready to play by this Friday. Coaching staff just wanted them to sit out last week and be healthy for district. Haven't heard anything else on Ellender(qb) or Cronk(back up center). If I do, I will pass it along.

If any of you have seen my post you have no doubt I do not like WOS. Mostly because they are a decent team! :D

I also watched the BC Silsbee game last week and I can honestly say I have not seen such piss-poor teams in the last 6 weeks. It is really a shame to watch two teams and know neither deserves to win because they both sucked BAD! I want my gas money back Cardinal fans...LOL

If WOS is as good as they think they are, which I doubt, then they should win by at leat 50 or more.

I saw BC this year and they weren't that bad. Hey I think they are having a qb problem. But I'll take Bc by 3 against OF.

The field goal kicker looks to be the most consistent on the team.

Just make sure if you are going to the game to get there early. I would say for sure no later than 6:45, especially if you are sitting on the BC side.

There is plenty of time for that forecast to change bc. You know how it is in SE Texas.

I've seen BC twice and OF once and I'm going with OF with the upset. BC can't pass a lick (no offense), if Morrison will line up 8 in the box and dare them to pass it will spell doom for the Cards. I'm taking OF by 3.

I don't know about that. I have seen BC play quite a bit this year and I believe they are decent on the short passing game. Short passes mixed with traps and draws will help. Also I look for some defensive touchdowns for BC.

The 2 games I've seen they couldn't pass at all. No offense, just giving an honest evaluation. It is definitely not something they are comfortable with doing.

Stop the run, make them pass. They may get 4 or 5 completions, but that will not beat you.

If Orangefield plays like it did last week against Galena Park, then it will be a close competitive game. Should be fun either way.

Hey you guys want to have a meet and greet before or after the game. We will probably be tailgating on the OF side. Not for sure yet though.

Hey now you should no that a little evauluation won't "ruffle my feathers" Lol. Bridge City always has been really a run team and we haven't won state since the 60's because of that reason. I believe my class, 2003, was the closest thing we had to a passing game but we still relied heavily on the run. I hope BC can take it this year however, very discouraging loss last year.

I've always pulled for OF in the "Bayou Bowl." (no offense BC) This should be the game of the week for sure. Good luck to both teams.
OF by 3pts. ;)

If the game does happen to come down to a field goal i like our chances, because we found a kicker last week and he should also start at outside linebacker for us. its gonna be a great game

Come on now. Don't be bashful, any OF guys can chime in on how our JV looks. I'm interested.

Orangefield JV is 2-2 on the year...

Orangefield 14
Lumberton 6

Orangefield 14
LCM 10

Orangefield 14
East Chambers 26

Orangefield(JV & Freshmen) 13
Galena Park JV 20

Don't know for sure if they will have two sub-varsity teams anymore. I heard they lost a few to grades and with some injuries on varsity, 3 or 4 kids had to be moved up.
