DISTRICT Clyde vs Snyder ???

This one will be a close one, could go either way. It definately won't be a blow out by any means. Every game in this district will come down to the wire. Of course Snyder is a good team, but they aren't any better than Vernon was and Clyde played Vernon neck and neck. This game will be closer than people think....

Heres my take Clyde will come out strong and fast in this one and suprise Snyder early but Snyder makes adjustments and wins this one 24-13

Yea... Cyde might have played neck and neck with vernon, but many people have agreed that vernon isnt the team that they have been in the past few years, not to mention that they have 4 starters that didnt play against clyde. Snyder bounced back well last week after losing a close one to lake view, and snyder has had some injuries they got 2 players back last week and should get 2 more back this week, both are key players.

Clyde does have a decent football team. In fact, Vernon shut them down in the first half holding them to 1 first down and something like 37 yards. Then the Clyde coaches made some great adjustments and they jumped all over Vernon in the second half. The Clyde defense is also a good unit.

Vernon was missing both their safeties, both defensive tackles, and the middle LB. They moved a corner to safety and the QB also played safety. They also lost their best o-lineman to an inury during the game. Their center was also hurt (has been out two weeks now) That being said, Clyde still played a heck of a game and impressed me. That team had no quit in them and faught tooth and nail.

well... maybe they did, but will they be strong enuff to move the ball well against a fired up defense that held andrews to only -25 rushings yards? Snyder's secondary isnt weak either, they have more than enuff interceptions and deflected passes to prove that! And just because snyder's defense is going strong, that doesnt mean their offense isnt pulling its load as well after all i think they average at least 400 yds a game in total offense. I think the defenses will battle til the end but the better offense will pull it off!

there is no way u can say 'vernon is better than snyder' not taking anything away from vernon, but snyder has a pretty dang good team this year, i say they win either 21-0, or 21-7

Where is the game at? If they are playing in Clyde maybe they can do something about the bugs that are attracted to the stadium lights. I noticed that Clyde band could not even sit in there area because of these pests. Just my opinion.

I know those bugs are pretty bad. Anyways, the game is in Snyder, but I think that the Clyde Bulldogs will bring more intensity and desire into the game than the Snyder Tigers. Clyde will be fighting for a playoff spot in which they have not had in over 8 years.

alright....i'm saying Snyder by 14 just because Snyder is really good this year and they have home-field advantage. Clyde is good but i don't think they can pull it off through Snyder.

i don't know about this talk of clyde being more intense than snyder, ok maybe they are intense compared to the people they have played, but they really havent played any big schools. Snyder will have to work just as hard to get ready for clyde as any other week, its not gonna be a walk in the park, but snyder hasnt played any 2a teams!

I think that Clyde sees Snyder as its best chance at getting a playoff spot, but Snyder will take this one. It might stay close but I think Snyder has too much talent to let this one slip away.

honestly, now that i think about it, i think snyder's takin this one for sure, now if snyder was playing IN clyde, that could be diffenet, and i dont see clyde beating sweetwater or wylie, so i dunno if they'll see a playoff game this year

if things go well, after a great week of practice, clyde may have to hope to beat wylie or sweetwater, but from the films i have seen on all three teams i dont think clyde is gonna upset either of them, they just might have to tally up another year in waiting!

I predict a close game until fourth quarter and Snyder will turn it on. Snyder is always hard to beat at home. Clyde will play a respectable game but will lose in the end. This might be a high scoring game.
