We held Silsbee good in the first half. But our guys got tired. Another starter down with a injury tonight. Silsbee is a tough team.

What a heart breaker in Orangefield tonight. A win tonight would have really gave the players some confidence going into district play next week. Don't hang your heads guys. You played one heck of a game tonight. Players and Coaches, we are all proud of you and stand behind you 100%. Keep your heads up, remember now that everyone in district is 0-0 so lets start out district play with a w. Good Luck the rest of the season. We will support you 100%.

It was more like 75 yards, and yes it still hurts. I really feel for our guys. They played their tails off tonight. Keep your heads up guys.

No it was about a 60 or 70 yard pass right down the middle of the field. Looked like a defender tried to intercept the pass and then we missed a tackle and he was gone after that. We had two players in the area, but just didn't make the play. They acted like they just won the Super Bowl...I mean it was exciting for them but they went a little overboard with it. The good thing is that we're getting better every week and no one gave these kids a chance to win tonight and they took a pretty talented team down to the wire and could have won the game. Keep your heads up guys, everyone is 0-0 going into next week.

Dang, BC. You guys will rebound from that loss. ;)
Silsbee? That drop down was good for them.
Go Cardinals!!!

The Cards came out of the Silsbee game beat up pretty bad with at least two possible long term injuries. Hope not on that. Ellender has possible busted ribs. He is a QB.. Soph. John Dishon QB carried the load for the Cards..... did well. He had 96 yards rushing. The middle of the Card defensive line is missing due to injury. Silsbee has a very good offense. Their defense bends a bunch but they didn't break. Offense turns the ball over a lot and that will hurt them. They have Jasper on the last week of the season. Barn burner in the making.

Cards go to the surging Orangefield Cats place to open district play. Should be interesting.

Hopefully, Landry and Zimmerman will be ready to play next week. Cronk went out last night with some sort of leg injury. When did Ellender get hurt? I work the gate and didn't see much of the game.

Sounds like BC could have used a bye week this week to get everyone healed up for district.
