I am curious about what kinds of fund raisers do your booster clubs do. Do you have separate clubs for each sport, or are the all group under "athletic boosters". How often do your clubs meet and what is the level of participation?

sell parking spaces at the football stadium to businesses and put their business ad on that parking apace...like with a sign or something. Ive seen schools make a LOT of money by doing that

Each sport has a different booster club here.

A couple of fundraisers are: selling ads for the programs, T-shirt sales, spirit paraphanalia (clappers, shakers, etc.).

Participation has been higher this year than I have ever seen it, which is strange considering the athletes who have graduated over the past couple of years, and the struggles we are experiencing now!

in Forney the main fund raiser is the football program ad sales ... last year was a $12K+ profit ... this year should be a little more

Rice has just one booster club for all sports. Fundraisers are selling T-shirts and clappers, etc. They also raffle off a game ball at every home game with all the players sigs.

we have cards printed up that have discoutns to cvertain restaurants or other businesses on them and we sell them. THey are a big hit. The only cost is having the cards printed. We call them "Wildcat Cards" The kids sell them at school at botht he HS and MS.....booster club members sell them also

We have one booster club for all sports. We sell parking spots at football games and have membership drive to make money. We also sell t-shirts, a football , caps and other things at every home game. We have a concession stand at our Gobbler Relays for a money maker, plus we have 2 big bbq each year also. We meet each wednesday @ 7:00 and each week someone different cooks a meal with dessert for everyone. Anything from pork to chicken to beef and yes occasionally turkey (gobble-gobble).We average somewhere between 75 - 120 folks. There is a 5.00 charge for anyone that eats and this usually pays for the meal. Several banks in Cuero donate meals and money is made there also.

I guess we could auction off parking spots at Walmart and provide an escort to the stadium! Something like that would be a good fundraiser, if we had decent parking!

that is pretty funnny...parking at walmart!

i wonder if you could get walmart to donate spaces for tailgate parties before the game. have the boosters cook some food and get people to donate some cash. could work.

For Liberty Hill, we have the All Sports Booster Club. We do various fund-raisers, with probably 50% of our money coming from football concessions, 20% from merchandise sales (t-shirts, caps, etc.) and 30% from HARD WORK at the UT footballl games. We staff the booths around the stadium selling merchandise.

We meet once per month. Participation is very low, in my opinion. We have 15 or so folks that do about 98% of the work. But it's worth it to me. We have a mission statement to guide how we will spend the money, in line with UIL regulations.

Feel free to PM me if you'd like any details.
