They beat No. 5 ranked Florida tonight in Florida 3 to 1!! Florida had not lost a game at home since 2001 and had a 46 home win streak. Florida also did great last year in the playoffs so the Lady Longhorns beat a great team on the road! Way to go Lady Longhorn!! I am so happy!!

We played Baylor tonight. I went to the game and we looked pretty good. I only stayed for two matches but we won 30-23, and 30-19 in the first two matches.

Thanks Bulldog! We got some good volleyball teams in the big 12 this year.

Definately. This was my first volleyball game to go to. I was a little reluctant at first because I have never been a big fan of volleyball, but I will definately be attending another one.

Very good Bull! And you may want to check out the Aggie soccer girls' team this year too. They have been doing well. Plus the Aggie softball team is usually good too.

Actually I went to my first soccer game last night and had a blast. We beat Sam Houston State 10-0. Little one sided, but still fun to watch. I will be going to those too. I figure I can try everything this year. I have a sports pass which means i already have a ticket to anything if I want it.

I think beating Flordia in Gainesville made a statement about this volleyball team. Florida was a FF team either last year or the year before. So to upset them at their home says a lot about this team. Coach Elliott mentioned in The Daily Texan yesterday how he basically expected Florida to expose UT's weakness. Well I guess we saw who got exposed--beating the #5 ranked team at their house isn't too shabby.

Texas was ranked 3rd in the Big 12 pre-season. So I really like our chances to take the title this year.
