To raise money for its new school under construction in Argyle, Denton Liberty Christian auctioned off the right to call a play in Friday's game against Garland Christian.
Liberty parents John Reed and Jeff Loch each bought the right to pick a play and the personnel to run it. They attended practice last week to work on their plays.
Reed's fumblerooski was recovered by Garland Christian. But Loch's son Andrew was brought up from the junior varsity and executed his father's play to perfection, throwing a 36-yard touchdown pass to Jeff Henderson.
