Who in your town has the longest consecutive home/away game attendance streak in your town for your HS team. How about home games only for some of the senior citizens? I saw a story on an elderly couple from Ballinger who had not missed a game in 25 years. I've missed 6 Bulls games in 20 years.....I think.

Most definitely Bridgeport Bulls, 3aFan....I might have missed something in the subtlety of the 2 bold "i's" in the word "Bridgeport", but I ain't too swift of the uptake today anyway....Thanks always for responding.

Thanks Keith7.....I never noticed that before....but then again I've been known to "fat finger" keyboards a lot. 3aFan sure had me scratchin' my head.

There....I edited my profile and deleted one of the extra "i's" in "Bridgeport". Just got back from getting tickets for Decatur-Abilene Wylie. Any of you guys gonna be there?

Bullaholic, my grandfather (and slpybear's) was the first Bulls Superfan. I don't even know for sure how many years he went without missing a game, but I know it started before my dad (and slpybear's) played football, and he graduated in 1963. I think he received the "Superfan" award sometime in the 90s, so I would guess his streak was upwards of 30 years. To be honest, I'm not sure of the details, though. I do know that even after he was too sick to make it up to the bleachers, we use to drive him to the field and park the car down close to the water tower end zone so he could still watch his beloved Bulls.

Either way...that was an awesome story!!

Ack--I meant 30 years! I've gone back and corrected it now...

And thanks. :)

BullsFan.....I knew your grandfather (on your mother's side-if you are slpybear's brother)....fine man, and I know your dad. Don't know that I can match that 30 year run....but what I lack in time I'm gonna make up in enthusiasm.....I couldn't even manage a "whisper" after the Kennedale game....but that's what its all about.

My dad missed his first Jasper game 3 or 4 years ago due to a heart attack that he suffered the week before. (at a Jasper football game) I can't remember his streak, but it was either 21 or 22 straight years without missing a game. They actually prayed for him at the game. (back when you could still do that):) :) :)
