since the thread, how many of us are at work came up, i thought it would be nice to see what other folks do for "work"...otherwise, it would take FOREVER looking at all of the profiles...and many folks don't put any info there...i realize some might be trying to keep info private, but for the rest...spill it

I do accounting work for an advertising agency. I have the privilege of being able to telecommute, so only have to actually go into our offices in Austin 3-4 hours a week. The rest of the time, I'm busting my buns, maintaining the privilege. Oh, and I get to keep up with you guys now.

I may post once or twice on Friday's at work, but that's about it...

I work at a plant on the coast called Inteplast... Or Amtopp... or whatever... I'm in the World Pac Division...

In my area of the plant (the plant inside of the plant), we make corregated plastic and use them for sign blanks, signs and boxes (mostly boxes)...

We do boxes for Frito Lay, Wal Mart, Sony, so on and so on, ballot boxes for the presidential election in Mexico, asparagus, grape, okra, marijuana (jk) and all sorts of wierd things such as concrete block forming thingy-bobber-dealies...

Grape and asparagus boxes are the main business around there, we're about to get pounded for asparagus boxes...

My position, I guess, is die-tech... a die-tech at our plant does a lot of stuff, but it all deals with building the tools (dies and strippers etc...) that cut out the boxes etc... and strips the scrap material from the almost finished product...

I like it, it's pretty fun...

Oh yah, if you have a recent chrystler or volkswagon car, we did your trunk panels :D
