FSN vs. ESPN

After 5 revisions, the contract has finally been signed by both schools to officially make the week 7 match-up between Midland Lee and Odessa Permian a nationally televised game.

The game will kick off at 7:30pm central time on Thursday, October the 14th. FoxSportsSouthwest will carry the game to it's entire broadcast area and the other FoxSportsNet regions will have the option of televising the game, or choosing alternative programming.

With the current reviews of Friday Night Lights, look for the game to be televised in most every FoxSportsNet region.

SLC/Denton Ryan will kick off a 8:30 pm central time on either ESPN or ESPN2.

At least it was in color!

Mine was typed in excel, printed out on regular paper in black, and stuffed inside our pre-printed program.

That's okay though, they want me to type the roster then they will just have to accept the fact that I am going to put my own ad in pluggin the downlow!!:D

UIL Rules prohibit HS games from being aired live on Fridays. That is why.

That is great news. I probably won't be able to watch it live but I will have my vcr recording it.

This thing kinda bothers me. We have an unprecidented event, in two Texas teams that are nationally ranked playing on national TV...but we have a movie coming out, and now we have two very mediocre teams also being nationally televised. To me, this kinda takes away from the SLC/Ryan game. But, that's just me.
