Danny Deere from Caldwell has been on Varsity since a Freshman (hes a Sophomore this year) and he is GOOD!

Sophmore Joseph Banyard of Sweetwater is a breakaway threat any time he has the ball.

Muleshoe sophomore QB #10 Brent Hamilton coming on strong. He can make quick cuts, is very fast, and has a good arm... he is starting to read the field like a senior. He had a few varsity starts last year as a freshman! when the senior QB was down with a shoulder injury. The offense clicks when he's playing.

The Patton twins from BH, both playing corner right now but are excellent running backs when put in the game, they will be something very special in the future

.
Fabian Olguin, eight carries for 79 yards against a decent Sinton defense.
.
Also, Amdon(sp?) Castillo for Sinton is a sophmore and good, too.

What's his name? Euackert on the defensive line for Sinton looks stout, too.

Im going to be a homer and say Moye of Jasper. He might not be the absolute best right now, but give him time. This kid is going places.

Two words. Brian Scott for the Cameron Yoemen.
His older brother Terrance Thomas played back in the 97 & 98 season as a wingback & running back. His bro was probably 6'2, 210. Brian isn't as big but he's getting there in height and if he puts on some weight he's going to be a killer QB next year. Right now he backs up Mullins but when he gets in the kid is just so fast and can juke people out of their skin it's incredible. He's mainly a receiver this year but I'm curious to see how accurate he is throwing the ball. Guess we'll find out next year but he's gonna be a horse trust me. Oh yeah, he's a sophomore.

My sentiments EXACTLY about Colton Wilber...Freshman QB for the Rangers....he is still getting his feet wet, but I look for good things from him over the next few years!

Olguin is a burner with strength beyond his size. Against Sinton I saw him make a cut and fit through a hole, full blast, that was about 6 inches wide and broke it for a TD. He also sparked the team in the 4th with a return. His best game was against La Grange. I'm not sure about the stats but he had like 7 carries for over 100 yards and 3 TD's(I'm sure about the TD part). He's a gamebreaker and threatens to score on every touch.

Is that Dawson's younger brother by any chance?

skye green, joseph banyard, and justin adames are all making a big contribution for us...all three being sophmores

Flannel at Columbia has had a good start. 645 yrds rushing so far, and was only one of only three backs last year to gain 100 yrds against Bay City, as a freshman.........

I agree with you Eagleman. Sophomore twins Todd and Blake Patton are going to be very good for the Barbers Hill Eagles.

McCravey for the Clyde Bulldogs. He has something like 7 or 8 TD's and one he broke for like 60 yards. Those stats are pretty good for a sophomore especially since he is always a threat downfield for the long ball. I think he will be a very talented football player for the Clyde Bulldogs in the years to come.

JJ Adams, running back with Jasper. He played very well in Friday's game at Bridge City. This was his first game with the varsity. This kid runs hard, and runs over people. Several times he had 3, 4, or even 5 players trying to tackle him, but he kept on moving. He is one tough kid! Gonna be great next year.

man..what about the canton qb...started as a fresh last year and threw for more then 2000 yards if im not mistaken and also led canton to their first playoff victory in a LONG time. Already has a couple of 400-plus yard games this year as a soph

Lake Worth has a freshman rb that is a true freak...the kid has good speed and even better moves, and to top it off, he goes by the name "Pooh Bear."

I will be a homer also and second that. To put his talent in perspective, Moye started his first game against Burnet last year as a FRESHMAN in the Semi game. As long as he was in the game Jasper controlled the ball, and had a lead going into the fourth quarter. He had to leave the game because of an injury, and from what I have heard, that seemed to be the turn of the game against Jasper. Even as a freshman he was that valuable. Now at 6-2, 190 or so pounds, a cannon for an arm, and blazing speed, he is already something to behold as a sophmore. That is just my biased opinion! :D

I watched the Rockdale\Hutto game last week and the Hutto QB(#1) and the Hutto TE (#84) are players. The TE is big and has excellent hands. I think he is D1 talent if his grades are good. The QB is quick and hard to catch in the open field.

Hutto is mostly sophmores and jrs. They would be really really good if they had better coaching. :)

Colton Wilber and Big Dean Smith. Dean is 5-9 280 starting DT for the rangers this year possible D1 prospect he just needs to grow if he gets up there around 6-3 or 6-4 and his 40 time down to 5.2 he will go D1 for sure. Hes a big kid and he runs a 5.5 40 already and last year as an 8th grader he squated 400lbs

Kyle Noack and Ace Slone. Strong/Weak safety for Cuero. Both are great athletes for being only sophomores. They are both strong, but their speed is fantastic they're big(at least 180 a piece). Noack: 2 picks in the first 2 games and took one like 60 yds for TD. Slone has a pick and he caught a TD pass against Sinton as a FB on one of the 3 or so plays he was in on offense.

i will have to say Joseph Banyard from sweetwater, hes a soph, but he runs over guys like he's an experienced senior, and he's very fast

yea kyle and ace are definitely some popular players for cuero and they'll definitely have starting positions through their senior year. not 2 mention i'd also say they are definitely 2 of the most popular players among girls from what i hear. but hey that's not much of a surprise
