UT wins college medals at 2004 Olympics!

By total medal counts by current and former athletes in college the University of Texas won the total medal count in the 2004 olympics! The top four colleges were as follows:

1. Texas with 10 medals (6 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze)

2. Tie between with USC with 8 medals (3,2,3) and California with 8 medals (2,3,3). USC gets top billing due to most gold medals.

3. Stanford with 6 medals (0,4,2)

By my point system it would be Texas with 88 points, USC with
64 points, California with 62 points, and Stanford with 44 points.

I don't know about Baylor raider and you have a good question. I guess they were only listing the top three because there were other good ones from other Texas schools.

In my Intro to Kinesiology class we have an extra credit assignment to take a tour of the Arco Olympic Training center here in san diego where many of these athletes trained at, that i'm really lookin forward to

i thinkthe guy that won the 4oom was from baylor and him and 2 others on the 4x400 were from baylor. could be wrong, but i think so.

at baylor we only had 3 medals from 2 differnet people.....so we didnt come close to the top 3...wariner had 2 golds, one from the 400m dash and 4X400 relay and williamson had one gold from the 4X400 relay...
