I'm not impressed with Kennedale this year....

Haven't been impressed with them since Decatur hung 70 in 2 quarters against them in a scrimmage.

Everman surprised me at Stephenville. I really expected Stephenville to hang 42, but only managed 9. This doesn't look good for the Wildkats.

Everman's D is one of the best in 4A this year...their D this year is better than the 2001 and 2002 state championship defenses in my opinion...they totally shut Stephenville down which is saying something....BUT their offense has been terrible...I dunno if the O can get it together but Kennedale would be a nice spot since they have beaten Everman 2 years in a row....Everman has this one circled I'm sure...but that doesn't mean much...they had it circled last year also! LOL

Being #4 in the state is just an illusion. If our defense let Colin Jones (Bridgeport) run for 396 yards, I can't imagine what the Everman running game will do. You can throw "bend but don't break" out the door. Don't get me wrong. Kennedale is still improving each week. Coach Barrett never ceases to amaze me in his game preparation. Matthew, I feel sure you will be at the game. Keep your eye on Daniel Hemphill (linebacker). THis kid is strong as an ox and twice as mean. I noticed Bridgeport had 3 people blocking him and he was still making tackles. Bottom line is.....we're no match to Everman.

K-TOWN I think it is this year.....Everman held a Stephenville team avergaing over 50 points per game against 4A competition to 9 points....3 FG's is all they got...and 2 of those FG drives started in Everman territory....I think this is the best D Everman has had in a LONG time....someone on another board compared Everman's D to Bay City's from a few years ago....I dunno if they are THAT good..but they are strong....

As for Kennedale being no match for Everman I doubt that...Kennedale always gets up for Everman no matter what...it'll be a hard fought game
