.........have a 2-3 record, all 3 losses by a COMBINED 5 points, and on 2 of the 3 you were going for a 2 pt. conversion to win or tie the game with just seconds left and did not make it?

Nope. But I'd be willing to bet that there's at least one team that fits that criteria.

We're not 2-3, in LH. We're 4-1, but the loss did come from a failed 2 pt conversion. I'm pretty sure everyone on this board knows who we were playing that game...:D

Wharton almost fits it...

2-2, I believe....

Lost to a tough 4A team in El Campo week 0 (wasn't a blow-out, was actually pretty close) then to Cuero week 2 by 1 point, failed two-point conversion at the end of the game (well, less than a minute left)...

i think forneys losses were less than 5 combined points, im not 100% sure though...

At least it is during the regular season and not during district. I think in 1969 Freer lost three of four district games by 1 point because they couldn't make the extra point or points. This kept them out of the playoffs since only one team from each district advanced then.
