I went out and watched the Sea Rim Strider Invitational at Pleasure Island near Port Arthur. The Bridge City BOYS ran in the 4A & 5A and finished 1st,3rd,4th,5th,6th, 8th and 12th, thus winning the meet. The great runner for Iowa, La was bested by A. Brennan. BCs, Heath, who finished 3th, had him in a dead heat all the way to the finish line.
The BCJV ran in the JV race but their times were such they would have won the 3A-1A catagory had they been able to enter that race.

It is interesting to note that Lockhart's boys moved up to #1 in 4A having edged out BC, who placed 2nd, in the 4A & 5A event at TX A&M
