This was one of those games you really wanted to leave at the half. But, as a fan, I just couldn't bring myself to.

The backup-backup QB and the JV squad played the 2nd half. I was glad they got to play.

I'm not positive they played - our schedule shows they were to play Vista Ridge Thursday. I don't know how VR could field both teams, so I don't believe they did.

Yes, he was playing - punt team, not punt return. The TD was on a punt that VR blocked, but didn't get on the ball.

I dont think running up the score is anything to be proud of but I guess if your that eager to shove it their face then it is what it is...anywayz....another win for LH thats all that matters...peace

There was no running up the score. It was 62 - 0 at half. Coach Vance saw it coming and brought the JV to this game to play the last half. The JV only scored once by driving the ball the entire half with the extra score comming on a fluk and only punt of the game. The fluk was that Vista Ridge blocked the LH punt but instead of VR getting the ball or scoring LH scooped the loose ball up and ran it in for a TD.
VR is a 5A school with only fish and sophmores this year. Last year they only played a JV scehdule. This year they are playing varsity teams from selected 3A and 4A schools. They came close to beating Marble Falls which is 4A, losing 20-12. They do have a JV team which is all fish and they played on Thursday.
75 to 0 is a beating and I hope it dosen't put a losing mentality on the team for years to come. Some I don't think so, they seemed be well coached. They hustled from start to finish and played hard to the final gun.
