ok...I will post updates on this thread in about 2+ hours from now. Good thing they are playing down in BC...big rains here in Jasper right now. Hopefully, they will have a dry (drier) field down in BC. Sic 'em dogs!!

I know, but it just seems like the only team Jasper has gotten the run stopped was by a couple of penalties. As long as Jasper keeps running the ball down their throat, I don't see any way Bridge City can really come back. But thats just my opinion.

Bridge City just don't have too much talent. Don't give the dogs too much credit yet. Now PNG was a different story.

High points:

Gilder is truely remarkable and so is Patton. Them guys are faster than lightening. Just gotta keep them from getting.

Just a plain old digital cell phone will work also if you buy their software. Oftentimes, that has been my only access for days and weeks at a time. At least, it works with Verizon.

That surprises me. I would think those choppy cellular signals would be too inconsistant to transmit data that way. I guess we all see why I'm not in telecommunications! :eek:

Mine is the old-fashioned cell phone. It is slow, about like 14.4 dial-up. The WiFi is fast, or at least is supposed to be.

Jasper receives the kickoff... makes a good run, but holding and ball comes back to Jasper 20...then a 'flea-flicker' reverse pass and Jasper scores on 80 yd pass...extra point is good...Jasper 35 - BC 3..that's 5 extra points made...looks like kicking game has come around..

Generally if I am getting at least three towers it works fine. If I have maximum towers, the service is generally almost as good as regular dial up.

Thanks j_dog. I heard this past week that the city of Philadelphia was pondering installing something like this (probably exactly like this) free of charge to all within the city. I'm surprised to hear Bridge City has such a thing! :eek:

Bridge CIty just scored and it is 34-10. Jasper has had at least their second string in since the 2nd drive of the third quarter. So everyone gets to play tonight. Good thing too, it was liable to get up to 60 had Jasper not put in backups. 1:38 left in the game.

Where were the Jasper fans tonight?:thinking: When we saw you guys in the Dome 2 yrs ago, I thought everyone from Jasper COUNTY was there. The Visitors stands looked awfully empty tonight, and it made me wonder if it was the weather or something...

I think the weather had alot to do with it. The crowd size that is.

But i just want to say that it was a good game and tell yall that we all got home safe and we had a fun bus ride back. There was one play though, that #8 got his hat knocked off and got hit in the head and he started jerking around, me and some other people were right there not 10 feet away from him when it happened and we got scared that something really bad happened to him. But whoever that is has alot of heart cause he got up, shook it off and was back in 2 plays later. And we are glad that he is alright and we hope the other kid who got hurt ( i think twice) is up and ready to go monday afternoon at practice. I think by Buna our starting quarterback will be ready to go again. But about 20 min into the ride back was when the weather started getting rough and it didnt let down till around kirbyville.

JHS 06...yeah that was John Dishon our Soph. QB. He is a solid kid with plenty of speed. Yall put a real piney woods whuppin on us but it will help us. We have Silsbee next week and we expect another dose of speed and hard hitting. When do yall get them? Enjoyed having yall in BC, take care and get that QB back in the saddle.
