Wharton vs Hempstead

I don't know much about Hempstead. I know Wharton has a solid team. Anybody know anything about Hempstead's team this year?

I don't think Hempstead has too strong of a team. Wharton should have no problem taking the win.

played the hemp last week.
gave our boys fits! (but we are not very good)
They seem to have above average team speed, and they run to the ball on defense. At quarterback club, our coaches said they are getting better every week.
I do agree that whurten should have no problem with them. The way whurten can score at will gives them a huge advantage over a lot of folks. whurten should win the region when its all said and done. yes people, they will win the DII region IV championship.

I like to hear that people are picking Wharton to have no problems. I have to agree that Wharton is going to win the Region. They have a real good chance of advancing to the State champiobship game this year. If the defense can hold opponents to under 25-20 points, Wharton will probably win all their games. The offense is basically unstoppable. Trey Jones is phenominal. He makes the Wharton offense impossible to prepare for. I'm looking forward to following the Tigers the rest of the year.

Heed my warning- never take a team lightly. If they get rolling, they could win, so don't stick that nose in the air too high...

the only way to stop whartons offense is make sure every receiver is covered and keep at least 2 spies on jones... if u rush 3 and drop 8 back in coverage he'll run all over you but if u had two spies on him that would take away some of his rushing yards... and then if you're doing that they'll just pound the ball with pierre until u put 8 in the box and they'll go back to the pass and kill you... so just hope you have a lot of speed and physical dbs and awesome dl and lbs

what is you problem with wharton having good kids, and good athletes. does this not happen on the other side of the river. are you ok with the fact that many people have noticed the tigers and not your team. how good have yall actually been?
