PROPOSAL - 3A Down Low NCAA Top 25

OK--so i'm stealing Matthew's idea. :D But he's a cool guy so I know he won't mind.

While all of us on here follow high school football, there are a number of us that follow college football as well. So I'm proposing that we have a 3A Down Low Top 25 for college football (D1) every week.

If you like this, just let me know. (Assuming it's okay with Ranger Mom.)


Basically, I'd put a post up every week asking for your top 25. That Thursday (since that is when college games usually start) I'll post the 3A Down Low Top 25.

It's just something to play with since we already have so much fun on this board! And if no one wants to do it, that's cool as well.

Sounds fun. Would it be a point system like the AP poll (1st-place votes get 25 points, second-place vote gets 24, 25th-place vote gets 1 point)?

Don't you think five teams from each poster would yield a top 25? Picking 25 in order is a lot to ask.

What are you lazy? I know Pilot Point-ians aren't lazy people.

A top 5 wouldn't give you a top 25, seeing as how the same top 5 teams would be picked over and over again--i'm assuming.

If people knew anything about football, they'd know that despite the records of A&M and Tech, they still are not top 25 teams.
