Here is a good question.. what would your ideal P.E. program have in it?? what would make your P.E. Program better then anybody elses?

if its just a pe class...do something like dodgeball, or something that will get their blood pumping, i LOVED dodgeball in middleschool, once we got into HS we would get the back of kicking footballs in our big room and play dodgeball w/ those, a lil bit more paniful tho, but FUN!

It really depends on the grade level, but 1st you should educate the kids on how to properly warm up and prepare for activity. 2nd you should always include some sort of physical fitness activity such as jogging, walking, or sprinting, push ups, sit ups, and etc. Finally you will want to create units of study such as football. Break your units down to the small bits and pieces of the game like how to properly catch and throw. Once you have your lessons taught you can organize teams and play tournaments and etc. You can do this with every sport you can think of Football, Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, Soccer, Volleyball, and etc.
There is also a time and a place for a good game of dodgeball, some disagree with this, but all kids love it. It just needs to be monitored properly.

i was an Intramural Dodgeball Champ at UTD, hehe...i never got put out in 7 best of 3 matches...
