I just have a question about District 18-AAA..
I am trying to figure out who Gatesville will play in the opening round of the playoffs.

Right now it looks like Cameron will be the Division I school.........but,

If Caldwell wins out and Rockdales losses out.

Caldwell will be 2-3 with losses to Marlin, Cameron and Rockdale.

Rockdale will be 2-3 with losses to Marlin, Cameron and Troy.

Troy will be 2-3 with losses to Marlin, Cameron and Caldwell.

Who gets in the playoffs???

If there is a 3 way tie...which is unlikley then you go to the district's tie breaker system...every district is different although most utilize the point differential system with a 14 or 21 point limit..

I think you should prepare for Cameron, besides Caldwell, they are the biggest school in this district.

I agree that it is unlikely for Gatesville to play anyone but Cameron.

With Caldwell being the district's biggest school, I would much rather see them in the bi-district round rather than Cameron.

I am sure District 18-AAA goes by the point difference.

If the three teams tie for third, that would be a big mess. I can't say that I am not hoping it will happen though.

Troy would have to beat Rockdale pretty bad (point spread) and I don't see that happening.
