Saturday after the Gilmer Paris game in Mt Pleasant I headed to Shreveport. Headed to the boats first, lost all my money, except for the 8 bucks it took to get into the Indepence bowl for the above mentioned ball game. What a game, Evangel beat themselves in this one! Turned the ball over on thier side of the field time after time. Evangel has one of the best defenses that I have ever seen. Too bad they gotta play Abilene this Saturday, Abilene will win the battle of the Eagles.
