Take a look at these records. Compiled from 1990 to 2002.

Abilene Wylie 117 wins 38 losses 3 ties
Sweetwater 118 wins 37 losses 2 ties
Vernon 118 wins 40 losses 1 tie
Graham 93 wins 49 losses 1 tie
Perryton 83 wins 62 losses 2 ties
Canyon 71 wins 65 losses 3 ties
Decatur 62 wins 70 losses 2 ties

I know Sweetwater, Canyon, and Graham all had stints in 4A during this time period.

These are just teams that I picked out. You can go to texasfootballratings.com and compile the records of other teams.

The amazing thing about Abilene Wylie's record is it has been all under Sandifer. The majority of Vernon's wins come under legendary coach Leo Britain. Who was Sweetwater's coach during their runs in the 90's? I know Jackson has only been at Sweetwater for about 4 years now.

Tom Ritchey coached through the 1997 team. Hank Dowell took over from 1998 - 2000. Jackson has coached the 2001 to present teams.

You must be going back a little farther. From 1990 to 2002 only.... I count Gainesville at 101 wins 48 losses and 1 tie.

Yah, but that's since '86, he's going by since 1990...

But since 1990, Gainesville only has 101

Cuero is sitting at 114-41-2 since 1990

Wow, Hugh Sandefer could have 200 wins in about 6 or 7 years if Wylie keeps winning about 10 a year.

Do you guys keep up with Andrews much? I have heard about them a few times in the late 90's etc... and that they were a very good ball-club, but aren't they winless or something this year? I know they have lost two games for sure...

what's going on over there?

They had a good club last year, had a kid that was a great QB that carried the team. I don't know who he signed with, but I know this year they aren't as talented as they have been in the past.

Sweetwater beat Andrews on Friday night. Odessa High also beat them, while Andrews has a win over Monahans. They have had some very tough teams in the last decade or so. They were 10-0 one year, very great team, led by Shaud Williams (former Tech and Alabama RB) but they got Stephenville in round 1. Stephenville ended up winning like 42-35. The Ville then went on to win the state title with ease.

Dont know whats going on in Andrews now, but they only had about 25 or so on the varsity. I guess they have just hit hard times like the rest of us out West.
