Any thoughts or predictions?

Mustangs by 14. Newton will hold their own, but WOS can match their speed and ultimately have more bodies to throw at the Eagles. No one will ever accuse Coach Barbay of playing a "cream-puff" schedule.

I don't know how many folks WOS will bring since it's an "out of the way" road game, but does anyone know the size of Newton's stadium?

Newton's Singletary Stadium is about the same as Orangefield's stadium. Visitor's side has about ten rows of bleachers. Lightpoles in front of the stands.

Believe me, it is small!!! After a couple of times of going there, I should know. Be forewarned, though...Once your in the stadium, your in!! If you forget something in the car, and want to go get it, be prepared to pay to get back in. They enforce this rule. But, on the other hand, get ready for some good food!! Someone sold smoked turkey legs the last couple times we were there. Also, you buy tickets to purchase items from the concession stand. Tables are setup in front of the concession stands for this. Good luck this week at Newton!!!

Was just there this week for JV game...bleachers are in TERRIBLE shape. Your best bet is to take lawn chairs, if for no other reason than personal safety! There are bleachers with the wood split, sagging, etc. Next time I go there I will plan on taking my chairs. Also, not a lot of room for visiting fans. Barely bigger than Huntingtons.

After a pretty small crowd at Central, I'm not too worried about Newton's seating capacity. I really doubt we'll bring many people to the game.
