Well j_dog, I sure hope yall used it all up tonight against Newton. LOL BC is next. BC looked pretty good against LCM but the Bears had some great defensive plays for two quick scores and one nice drive on offense. 28-21 final for Cards. See you at BC next Friday night.

Like I told you at West Orange, we'll roll over for you just to be nice! :D ;) That was a great victory for BC! Wish I could be there for the game next week. :( Maybe we will meet in the playoffs.

A few details...DAWGS looked MUCH better tonight. One fumble by Patton resulted in the score for Newton. Initial score for Jasper was on the initial kickoff, run all the way back by Gilder. Great game tonight. And best of all, I don't know of any serious injuries.

Jasper's quarterback didn't play most of the second half? One of the players told me his back was sore from a hit he took and they took him out for precautionary measures. The turnovers were much better tonight, which is surprising since the field was wet. Good game, DAWGS.

Only 2 fumbles (1 lost)! As long as they can hold on to the ball they should be all right!

Art Lay said they had 2 fumbles the 1st Half and as I listened tot he second half they lost 1 fumble.

So I think it was 3-1 lost. Getting better.

I was at the game and talked to coach Brach (You got to love it!). He told me that they tried to get the games webcast on the internet, but it just didn't happen. I told him that several folks on this site would love to see that happen.

What was the deal with Newton's fans? Usually they show up in full force. I would bet that Newton's side was only half full.

I was just going off the boxscore in the Houston Chronicle. Before you start to rag on the Chronicle, remember, someone has to give them the stats!

Every game they have played has been on the Chronicles website.
