FRANCISCO GETS 16-GAME SUSPENSION

Major League Baseball handed out four suspensions in the wake of the
Rangers' brawl with Oakland fans on Monday. Texas relief pitcher Frank
Francisco, who threw a chair into the stands and was arrested on
suspicion of aggravated battery, received the stiffest penalty in
more than a decade: 16 games.
