Wharton's JV is on a roll. They are 2-1-0 now. They beat El Campo JV, tied Cuero JV 38-38 and beat Brazosport last night in an awesome game 56-28. I think the boys were telling me that they have been undefeated since 7th grade. Not sure of that stat though. They are an awesome bunch. I hope they'll be like a fine wine, only getting better with age! Congratulations to you JV guys, #3, #12, #20, #33, #72, #88...just the whole bunch.
On another note, the Wharton Freshman won their game, 20-16, I think was the score. Congratulations to all the Wharton underclassman. Now, it's varsitiy's turn tonight. Let's go get 'em Tigers!
There was one Wharton JV player that had to be taken to the hospital last night. He was having trouble breathing and had chest pains. Tests were being run and I haven't heard anything. Please keep this young man in your prayers.
