What happened to Wimberly? They must have lost a lot of good seniors from last year's awesome team.

Wimberly will be there when all is said and done is my bet.

What BH has done in 3 (or is it 4 years) is nothing short of amazing, of course they don't do anything half-way on the Hill.
Why should they with the money they have?

the kids aren't taught to do anything half way at the hill, we do everything to the best of our ability and that is what we have always been raised to do.

Caldwell.... #7 .. something's gotta be wrong there... oh yeah for sure something is totally WRONG!

Wimberly may get back to the state tourney this year, but that would be only because of a weak region 4. I know Bellville swept them, and they also lost to some other 3A schools.

Caldwell was dropped because of their 2 losses in that tournament, but there is no doubt they will still make a long playoff run.

I don't think that kids are taught to do things half way anywhere else either...some kids just don't have the superior facilities, parental involvement, and community support and pride that the hill does. Makes a big difference.

Region 3 is loaded with good teams like Bellville, Caldwell, Barbers Hill, Silsbee, and Cleveland Tarkington. White Oak at 27-2 looks to be the class of reg 2, Reg 1 probably will produce Monahans again in San Marcos and Reg 4 is wide open with probably Halletsville or Needville the favorite but never count out Wimberley.

Of course I have not seen the top four play. I have seen Silsbee play and they are extremely poised. They have been honing their skills against some strong 4As--LC-M, Nederland, PN-G. Maybe it is the level of competition that has moved them down the ladder but I suspect that some of the teams above them would have lost more games to prime 4As.

I would rank Caldwell and Silsbee right up there with Barbers Hill near the top.

Even though Caldwell is ranked 7, they will take the crown!

You are aware that BH has beaten PNG 3 times?

Caldwell is always a threat and Silsbee is the real deal too. BH is hungry but one these two more storied programs could knock them off in Bryan (or wherever the reg. tourney might be this year). How is Manor looking this year?

Bellville is 16-5 I believe and their losses have come from 1 4A team, and 4 5A teams. Notable teams they have beaten include Needville, Halletsville, and Katy, and they have only 1 senior.
