Manor/Liberty Hill

Almost thought about heading down to LH for this one. Got to thinking, Manor is the real deal, might be a blow out. Anybody know much about Manor?

I don't believe it will be a blow-out, either way. This should be a great game. Manor favors pass offense, but does not pass exclusively - 449 yds passing, 259 yds rushing in the two games they've played. Their defense has given up an avg of 234 yds. LH almost exclusively utilizes the run, with 1360 yds rushing, 91 yds passing in 3 games. Our defense has given up an avg of 297 yds.

Manor is known for their speed & they do have it. I'm not sure that we are particularly known for any one thing, other than maybe "mis-direction". Our opponents over the last 4 seasons can better answer this question. I'm not taking away from Manor's coach in any way, because I know absolutely nothing about him. Our coach came to LH to a team that had a 2-8 record the prior season. He recognized the talent of the personnel we had & did not try to force pass offense when that was not the strength of the team.

If you decide to make the drive, it should be well worth your time and you should get to watch two great, or very good, depending on your opinion, teams take it toe-to-toe.

I'm going to pick Manor in this one. I don't know much about either team, but if Manor still possess the same defense as they did last year, they will be tough to beat.

I almost forgot BH/Manor played and then Jasper/Manor. Both were very close ones.

manor...i know absolutly nothing about them. Heard they are pretty salty though

Is the receiver # 1 still playing for manor? Swain I think. When BH played them last year this guy was awsome. He alone gave the team some trouble and BH had a stout secondary. I would have ranked him as one of the best receivers in the state last year.
